How do we organise this?
Just drop me an email and we can chat on what suits you.
When is the best time for our photo shoot?
Of course I'll fit in with your availability to get the best from your shoot, no matter what the time of day. If you would like an outdoor shoot, 1 - 2 hours before sunset the light is beautiful and golden. If you're really keen, morning light, up to two hours post sunrise, has a beautiful calm vibe.
My shooting days are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
How do we book?
Easy, just drop me a line via the contact page and we'll have a chat to sort what kind of shoot you would like - a $200 deposit is required to secure your date in my calendar.
After that, I'll get in touch, and also send you a questionnaire to help you get the most from your session, and I'll check in with you in the week prior to your session to chat about preparation, location and weather forecasts if we will be outdoors.
Where do we do the shoot?
For business and headshots, I come to you. We just need a meeting room or office with enough room for my lights. Or, if we're outdoors there are many great locations in and around Adelaide.
For family and couples shoots, is there a place that's special to you? Parks, trails and beaches are fantastic locations, or we can even do it in your own home and garden. Your photos will benefit from your personal connection with the place we use - you will be more relaxed and that will reflect in everything from the facial expression to the body language of everyone involved. Let's chat about location!
What if we get sick or the weather is bad on our photo shoot day?
We definitely live in interesting times with Covid adding the threat of sudden lockdowns, alongside the 'rained out' and 'kids' bugs going round' situations. We don't know what life will throw at us so let's not stress. If you get sick just give me 24 hours notice and we can reschedule. If the weather is looking iffy, I'll be contacting you just before your shoot anyway, and we can decide what to do then.
Are there any boring but important bits I should know?
Yes, yes there are:
-
I'm fully insured
-
I have a current SAPOL clearance
-
I'm fully covid vaccinated
